Organic sundried figs of Kymi PDO
The cultivation of these trees, gives us the chance to produce our golden-colored figs, with delicate skin and fluffy, soft texture, which are full of aromas and tastes from local herbs. They are luscious and feature a complex texture that combines the chewiness of their flesh, the smoothness of their skin, and the crunchiness of their seeds.
Figs are a healing fruit and the health benefits of eating figs are amazing. They are an excellent source of minerals, antioxidants and dietary fiber.

ASKADA farm was established with love and respect for the special variety of figs that grow in this particular place in Greece, Kymi, in Evia island.
Over the past few years, we have been operating a fig farm next to Melas river. Our farm is dedicated to organic cultivation and committed to offering you the unique taste of these precious figs.
In this very place in Greece you can find the trees that give life to these fruit with the delicate skin and remarkable taste, along with the unique process we follow to dehydrate them. We follow the traditional dehydrating method, used in Kymi for centuries.
For us, the notion "traditional" is of value as long as it is accompanied by primordial principles of collaboration, co-operation and respect for nature and human beings.
Every year in August, a group of people becomes a company that unites its forces to produce the ASKADA fig. The fig of Kymi.
We handle each fig with such care, both in production and during development, that we feel proud of what we produce.
Our premium organic fig is the main ingredient for all our artisanal gourmet products, that combine both inspiration and culinary culture with a healthy aspect.
