Creamy rice pudding

Rice pudding
Ingredients:
800ml water
100gr medium grain rice
1 stick cinnamon
1l fresh milk, full-fat
180gr granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder
2 teaspoons corn starch
1 pinch salt
Method:
- Add the water, rice, cinnamon in a pot and simmer over medium heat for 25 minutes.
- Drain and set aside.
- Place a pot over medium heat. Add 700ml of the milk, the sugar and bring to a boil.
- Add the rest of the milk, the vanilla powder and the corn starch in a bowl, and stir.
- Add the rice, the salt and the corn starch mixture in the pot, and stir for 4 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Remove the cinnamon stick and divide the mixture into small bowls.
- Consume your rice pudding hot or cold (from the refrigerator) adding cinnamon on the top.
