Honey

Strawberry tree honey(arbutus honey) is produced by the Soukas family on the slopes of Achaia. The flowering of the coumarus begins in November while flowers give pollen and nectar until late spring.

Chestnut honey is produced by the Soukas family on Mount Kosmas. It is honey of mixed origin , from the nectar of the flowers and the honey like secretions of the chestnut tree.

Fir honey is produced by the Soukas family, in Karpenissi. It is one of the most famous kinds of honey in Greece, with a percentage of 5-10% of the total honey production in our country.

Flower honey is produced by the Soukas family on the slopes of Helmos. Produced from the nectar of flowers and contain pollen from many plants in varying proportions. Their physicochemical and therapeutic properties, as well as their colour, vary according to the nectar of the bee carrying plants in the hive.

Heather honey is produced by the Soukas family on the slopes of Achaia. Heather is an excellent plant for the production of honey because it has certain unique qualities that are good for human health. These qualities go naturally to honey and that's why in recent years the popularity has grown steadily and more and more people are looking for.

Orange honey is produced by the Soukas family in Skala, Laconia, an important source of honey for nectar. It is a honey that loves children very much because of its very sweet and aromatic flavor.

Organic fir honey is produced by the Soukas family, in Karpenissi. It is one of the most famous honey in Greece. Its production amounts to 5-10% of total Greece's production of honey.

The organic thyme honey is produced by the Soukas family, in Lefkada. It is considered high-quality honey. It belongs to the flower honey, but it is a separate category due to its intense aromatic and taste characteristics. Its production amounts to approximately 10% of the total honey production of Greece.

Pine honey is produced by the Soukas family in northern Evia. It constitutes 65% of the total honey production in Greece and comes from the honey secretions of the insect Marchalina hellenica, when it parasitizes in Aleppo and Pinus brutia.

Thyme honey is produced by the Soukas family in Lefkada. It is considered to be an excellent quality honey. It is in the bouquet, but in fact it is a special category because of intense aromatic and flavor characteristics. Its production amounts to about 10% of the total honey production in Greece.
