Canava Roussos, the oldest CANAVA in Santorini, was founded in 1836 aiming to produce high-quality wines that uniquely express the characteristics of the numerous varieties of the Thiran vine. Decades of experience are passed down from generation to generation, in order to express the island's winemaking art with consistency, continuity, and absolute respect.
Today, Canava Roussos, faithfully following the traditional art of the Santorini island, utilizes modern technology and aims to create wines with unique flavors and aromas, choosing excellent raw material, among the finest varieties of the island: Assyrtiko, Athiri, Aidani, Mandilaria, Mavratheros.
